REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR: CATERING SERVICES REFERENCE: 1006-EOI-GFS-UG-GEN-CATERING SERVICES
EITS (Electrical Instrumentation and Telecommunications Systems) contractor for the EACOP project, invites experienced and reputable organizations to express their interest in the provision of below:
SCOPE OF WORK:
• Prepare and deliver staff meals to CONTRACTOR Offices in the 10 districts along the EACOP route in Uganda and, in Kampala
• Prepare and share meal plans and meal reports with CONTRACTOR every week.
• Capability to Deliver 3 Meals per Day (Breakfast, Lunch and Supper)
• Daily cleaning and collection of garbage from the Locations where meals shall be served
• The Contract Period shall be ONE YEAR from the date of the start of the supply of meals with an option to renew it upon agreement of both parties.
• The Service Provider shall, always, maintain the highest standards required in all aspects including, but not limited to, food hygiene, delivery schedules and standards of transport methods.
• The Service Provider shall be responsible for maintenance and replacement in case of breakages of utensils used.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Provide evidence of compliance from relevant regulatory food handling bodies and licenses
• Adequate Financial Capacity to undertake the eventual contract and recent financial statements Possession of appropriate registration and licenses as required under Ugandan Law
• Proof of registration with the URA and Tax Clearance Certificate for the latest year available
• Proof of registration in the National Supplier Database for service providers in the Oil and Gas sector Compliance with the Petroleum Midstream National Content Regulations, 2016 for Uganda
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & Industry Certification

Interested companies that meet the minimum requirements and have the capability to provide the goods and services listed above should express their interest by sending together with the above-listed documents an email to eacon.eits@se.com (not exceeding 20mbs).
All documents must be submitted in English language with the reference number as the subject by:
08th Feb. 2024, 5:00 pm. East African Time (EAT)
Companies satisfactorily meeting the minimum requirements will receive, subject to the signature of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), a detailed pre-qualification questionnaire for further evaluation by the CONTRACTOR. CTR reserves the right not to consider companies that submit an incomplete dossier!
Note: Only pre-qualified companies will receive an invitation to submit their bid in furtherance of the Call for Tender Process.
