PIL is a reputable company in the shipping industry, committed to providing efficient and reliable shipping and logistics solutions to our clients. To expand our market share, we are currently seeking to fill the position of Sales Executive with a minimum of five years and above experience in the logistics or shipping industry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Secure both import and Export business
  • Follow up with import Manifest and secure import TBL conversions.
  • Generating sales leads with key accounts.
  • Work hand in hand with both import and export documentation team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential import and export clients and market trends.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance in freight rates
  • Update and reviewing freight contracts to ensure rates are accurately filled in timely after freight is confirmed by client.
  • Managing and resolving freight discrepancies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Issuing Freight Correction Advice (FCA) to rectify any errors and ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications Experience and Competence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or business development (optional but advantageous).
  • Proven 5 years and above experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a logistics or shipping industry.
  • Experience in business development, lead generation, or account management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with freight, logistics, or import/export processes can be beneficial.
  • Proven experience in dealing with customers, resolving issues, and providing excellent service.
  • Experience in maintaining and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering sales presentations.
  • Computer Knowledge in word, MS excel, power point presentation.
