Role Overview
As a Secretary at Bweya Junior School, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of our institution. You will work individually under the supervision of the Director, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. Key Responsibilities
- Answer telephones and provide information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
- Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
- Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
- Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
- Perform payroll functions, such as maintaining timekeeping information and processing and submitting payroll.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Post-secondary Diploma in relevant fields.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Active Listening, Speaking, Service Orientation, Time Management, and Monitoring skills.
- Proficiency in computers and electronics.
- Knowledge of word processing software.
- Fluency in relevant languages.
