JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose   

Assist the driver with loading/off-loading, dispatches and maintaining the sound condition of the vehicle

 Key Duties & Responsibilities            

1.    Check and verifies items to be loaded;

2.    Check for general safety of vehicle before its driven;

3.    Regularly attend and/or participate in mandated instruction/training classes for vehicle operators;

4.    Oversee the proper loading of items to avoid damages, breakages and compromising of quality;

5.    Assist the driver by waving directions during parking and take off;

6.    Check the pressure of the tyres regularly;

7.    Maintain the water levels in the radiator and engine oil at all times;

8.  Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

 Required Qualifications         

             i.    Must have a UCE Certificate

            ii.    Must have a Certificate in Vehicle mechanics.

 Experience     

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a similar position

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: professional certificate
