About Bidhaa Sasa
We are a mission-driven company working to bring clean and modern energy solutions – especially electric cooking – to underserved households in East Africa. Our work directly supports climate goals and gender equity by helping rural families, particularly women, transition away from polluting fuels like charcoal and firewood.
We’re a small but ambitious team of around 80 people, based mainly in Kenya and Uganda, with a growing number of remote roles across the region and internationally. About the role
The Area Coordinator will be responsible for 6-7 field staff whose primary role is building relationships with clients and fulfilling duties that involve being a sales agent and loan officer. The hire will be reporting to the Director. The hire will be responsible for achieving set targets for the area that include both sales and client repayment behaviour. Additionally, the Area Coordinator is entrusted with developing a culture of ownership – where we own up to our failures and mistakes and learn from them, and transparency – where we speak out when stuck and reach out for help. The role will be based in Mbale-Uganda
