JOB DETAILS:

Role Context

The Assistant Anesthetic Officer supports the provision of safe anaesthesia and perioperative care within the district health service. The role works with other health professionals to prepare patients and equipment, assist with anaesthetic procedures, and monitor patients during and after surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-operative assessment and preparation of patients for anaesthesia.
• Prepare, check and maintain anaesthetic equipment and supplies.
• Support the anaesthesia team during procedures and monitor patients’ vital signs.
• Assist with post-operative recovery care and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should be suitable and qualified candidates. Relevant anaesthesia training, patient-monitoring skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team are appropriate for this role.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
