About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within the Cambridge Curriculum. The successful candidate will work closely with the lead teacher to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment while supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering classroom activities.
  • Assist in implementing lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum.
  • Provide individual and small-group support to students to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and school events as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching resources, displays, and learning materials.
  • Monitor student participation and progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working within the Cambridge Curriculum (mandatory).
  • Relevant teaching qualification or certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for supporting teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education programmes.
  • Strong ICT skills for supporting teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching and learning
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Cambridge Curriculum
  • Relevant teaching qualifications
