The SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is pleased to announce a call for expressions of interest from eligible Energy Service Provider Companies trading in energy-efficient appliances and services to apply for a result-based financing grant under the IMEU-Market Development Fund Facility. This initiative aims to incentivise eligible companies to market, distribute, sell energy-efficient appliances and services, and provide after-sales support to households, social institutions, and businesses in urban, peri-urban, and rural areas across the selected 36 districts and cities in Uganda.
Interested Eligible Energy Service Provider Companies (ESPCs) and Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) are encouraged to apply.
Companies must be actively trading in energy-efficient appliances and providing after-sales services. Prioritised energy efficient technologies shall provide clean cooking, lighting, pumping, cooling, heating, milling among other services to the intended target groups.
