JOB DETAILS:

Cleaner

Salary: UGX 150,000 per month
Age Requirement: Below 30 years

Job Purpose

The Cleaner will maintain a clean, hygienic, safe, and orderly environment throughout the school premises and other assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, washrooms, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, scrub, and disinfect surfaces.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Clean and maintain washrooms and sanitation facilities.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
• Keep cleaning equipment in good condition.
• Report damaged facilities, spills, hazards, or maintenance problems.
• Assist with deep cleaning when required.
• Maintain cleanliness around the school compound.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Respect the privacy of pupils, staff, and visitors.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Below 30 years of age.
• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Good personal hygiene and attention to cleanliness.
• Hardworking, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to perform routine cleaning duties.

Level of Education: high school
