JOB DETAILS:
The Medical Officer provides medical care and supports health service delivery. Responsibilities typically include assessing patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing appropriate treatment, maintaining accurate medical records, and referring patients for further care when required. The role also involves promoting preventive health practices, supporting public health activities, and working collaboratively with other health professionals to improve patient outcomes. Candidates should have relevant medical qualifications, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

Applications must be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 (2008 revised) to the Secretary, Nakaseke District Service Commission, Po Box 451, Luwero-Uganda, not later than 2nd December 2026.
Applications should be accompanied by 3 recent size photographs of the applicant, photocopies of certified academic certificates, a copy of your CV, and other relevant supporting documents.
The application forms are obtainable from Nakaseke District Service Commission Offices, Farmers' House- Kampala or any District/ City Service Commissions. Applications should bear the Title of the Post and Reference Number specified against each post. Serving Officers must route their Applications through their Heads of Department who should be informed of the closing date.
