S Kant East Africa Limited is a pharmaceutical manufacturing subsidiary of S Kant Healthcare Limited, based in the Namanve Industrial Park.
PROCESS MAINTENANCE FITTER – 2ND SHIFT
Job Purpose
To maintain, repair and service mechanical components of pharmaceutical production and process equipment during the assigned shift.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical maintenance on process equipment.
- Inspect machinery for mechanical faults.
- Repair pumps, valves, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors and related equipment.
- Replace worn or damaged components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules.
- Perform alignment and fitting work.
- Assist with equipment installation and modification.
- Respond to production equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain tools and workshop equipment.
- Complete maintenance work orders and records.
- Follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
- Follow GMP requirements within production areas.
- Support shutdown and planned maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Industrial Technical qualification/ITI in Fitting, Mechanical Engineering or related trade.
- 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience in any industrial sector is acceptable.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift.

Level of Education: associate degree
