Role overview
A Psychiatric Clinical Officer provides clinical care for people experiencing mental health conditions. The role generally involves assessing patients, identifying mental health needs, developing and supporting treatment plans, monitoring progress, and referring patients for additional care when needed. It also involves maintaining clinical records, providing information and support to patients and families, and working with other health professionals to promote safe, appropriate care within the local health service.

Job application procedure
Submit applications in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 (2008 revised) and, for education positions, ESC Form No.3 (1998 Revised), to the Secretary, Nakaseke District Service Commission, Po Box 451, Luwero-Uganda, not later than 2nd December 2026.
Applications should be accompanied by 3 recent size photographs of the applicant, photocopies of certified academic certificates, a copy of your CV and other relevant supporting documents.
Application forms are obtainable from Nakaseke District Service Commission Offices, Farmers' House- Kampala or any District/ City Service Commissions. Applications should bear the title of the post and reference number specified against each post. Serving Officers must route their applications through their Heads of Department, who should be informed of the closing date.
