On behalf of our client Buildbase Contractors, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Site foreman to work in Rakai.

Job summary

Buildbase Contractors is hiring an experienced Site Foreman to supervise daily construction activities on structured building projects. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical grounding who can manage site crews and ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of site workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety practices on site at all times.
• Monitor use of materials, tools, and labour to ensure efficiency and minimize wastage.
• Report daily progress, delays, and site issues to the project engineer/management.
• Coordinate deliveries of materials and ensure proper storage and handling on site.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity of the site workforce.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related building/construction discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with proven work on structured building projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction/structural drawings.
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision skills.
• Good understanding of site safety practices and quality control.
• Physically fit and able to work on active construction sites.
