Kreston HM, a partnership firm, is a professional service firm having its headquarters in Kampala and a branch in Jinja Town, Uganda. We are available locally with international affiliation.
The firm provides Audit, Tax, Accounting and Advisory services and industry insights to help organizations manage risk and performance in the dynamic and challenging environments in which they do business.
Kreston HM is a certified member firm of Kreston Global representing them in Uganda. Hitesh Mehta & Co. was formed in September 2005 and was also successfully enrolled as a member of ICPAU (Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda) in November 2005. In 2015 Hitesh Mehta & Co. was incorporated as partnership firm as Santa Fe Associates, which then transformed into Nexia HMS Associates in April 2018, then into Kreston HM in January 2023.

We are looking for Audit Seniors to coordinate and oversee the internal audit activities within the organization. The responsibilities of the Audit Seniors include making recommendations on policies, managing staff auditors, and recording results.
To be successful in a position, you should demonstrate excellent communication skills, solid knowledge of auditing disciplines, and strong analytical skills. Ultimately, a high-quality
Senior should have experience in auditing and strong leadership and organizational skills.

Direct responsibilities include:
1. Plan and oversee the auditing process
2. Allocate responsibilities to team members
3. Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance
4. Perform effective risk and control assessments
5. Complete audits on time and submit reports to auditing manager
6. Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
7. Coordinate periodical audits

Job Specification:
1. Professional accounting personnel : Semi qualified CPA or ACCA
2. Experience in Statutory audits
3. Knowledge of Caseware working would be an added advantage
