  • Role: Also known as a Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Officer, responsible for protecting beneficiaries and staff from sexual exploitation and abuse.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Developing, implementing, and monitoring the organization's PSEA policy and procedures.
    2. Conducting PSEA training for staff, partners, and stakeholders.
    3. Establishing a confidential reporting mechanism for incidents of sexual exploitation and abuse.
    4. Investigating and responding to reported incidents sensitively and timely.
    5. Developing and implementing awareness campaigns and prevention activities.
    6. Collaborating with NGOs, UN agencies, and other bodies to share PSEA best practices.
    7. PSEA Coordination: Providing inputs for an operational PSEA Work Plan for TTSL - Moyo project.
    8. Providing technical inputs for PSEA inclusion in TTSL Head Country Office Strategy, programming, risk mitigation, monitoring, evaluation, and budgeting.
    9. Participating in the PSEA Network to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and establish an inter-agency Community-Based Complaint Mechanism.
    10. Supporting Complaint and Feedback Mechanisms (CFM) in line with PSEA and Gender-Based Violence.
  • Educational Requirements and Skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Gender, Law, Human Rights, or International Development.
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience in sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, gender-based violence, staff misconduct, gender mainstreaming, or humanitarian affairs.
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure data protection.
    • Ability to work in a stressful environment with cultural diversity and sensitivity to gender issues.
    • Integrity, transparency, professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to learning and innovation.
