JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary: We are looking for a proficient Machine Operator to oversee the operation and monitoring of UHT milk production equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the consistent manufacture of high-quality, safe, and hygienically processed UHT milk products, aligned with production schedules and regulatory standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate UHT Production Equipment: Prepare, start up, monitor, and shut down UHT milk processing machinery following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Execute Production Plans: Accurately follow daily production schedules to process milk batches that meet demand requirements.
• Monitor Critical Parameters: Continuously track and control quality indicators such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and time to ensure product integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality checks during production and promptly report any deviations to enable timely corrective actions.
• Maintain Hygiene and Cleanliness: Conduct thorough cleaning and preventive maintenance of equipment and production areas, adhering to Clean-In-Place (CIP) protocols and hygiene standards.
• Product Handling: Safely manage UHT milk products throughout the production process to prevent contamination or damage.
• Accurate Documentation: Complete all production records, logs, and reports in a timely and precise manner to ensure full traceability.
• Equipment Maintenance Support: Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Compliance Adherence: Support full compliance with factory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements including ISO, HACCP, and GMP.
• Material Tracking: Maintain detailed records of raw material usage, product output, and losses to support inventory and process efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Certificate or Diploma in Dairy Science, Food Processing Technology, or a related technical field.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating UHT milk production equipment or similar dairy processing machinery.
• Solid foundational knowledge of dairy processing principles and UHT technology.
• Familiarity with quality and safety management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to rigorously follow operational procedures.
• Effective communication skills and basic proficiency in computer applications (MS Office).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Volume of UHT milk processed and packed per shift.
• Compliance with defined quality control parameters.
• Reduction of product wastage and efficient raw material management.
• Adherence to equipment cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Timeliness and accuracy of production reporting and documentation.
• Minimization of equipment downtime and production interruptions.

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Associate Degree
