Hugamara Group owns and operates several popular, high-end lifestyle restaurants, lounges, and bars primarily located around Kampala. Their prominent hospitality portfolio includes: The villa, Eateroo, The Maze Restaurant & Lounge, La Cueva among others.

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization's financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily sales reconciliation.
• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Manage petty cash and cash accountability.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Support inventory reconciliation with operations.
• Maintain accounting records and financial documentation.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
• Support audits and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA Level II or above is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Previous hospitality experience is an added advantage.
