JOB DETAILS:
Kakira Sugar Limited (KSL) is a leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda. KSL boasts of two (2) sugar estates, one in Kakira - Jinja and the other in Kayunga. We seek to recruit dynamic, competent and experienced candidates to fill various vacant positions in the company.

Job title: Accountant:
Experience of 3 years. 4 posts
Education:
Bachelor of Commerce, professional qualification in either CPA or ACCA

Key Responsibilities
• Dealing with banks, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting.
• Reconciliation of accounts including banks under on-line SAP environment with 150 users on SAP
• Preparation of cash-flow statements, annual budget and Management Information reports.
• Prepare daily, Weekly, monthly sales reports and provide efficient services to customers and business associations.
• Maintaining export documents and customer reconciliations.
• Compliance of statutory requirements for VAT, Exercise Duty, PAYE, withholding Tax, Income Tax and NSSF
• Supervision and control of the day-to-day functioning of the Accounts Section.
• Liaise with internal & Statutory Auditors
• Reconcile group company accounts on monthly basis and submit reconciled statements.
• Participate in both interim & yearend statutory audit including URA & NSSF Audit.
• Analyze all accounts on monthly basis.
• Participate in perpetual and end of year stock count and reconcile physical and book balance where necessary.
• Performing any other related duties assigned & delegated by Chief Accountant / Management.
