Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and tax filings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditure against budget.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax) and compliance with tax laws.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and MS Excel.
