Location: Kireka, Kampala (Office + Field )
We are looking for a hands-on Aftersales Engineer who is passionate about solar systems, customer support, and practical problem-solving in the field.
Number of positions
2 Candidates
Key Responsibilities
- Test and diagnose inverters, lithium batteries, MPPTs and solar street lights.
- Handle warranty and returns, including writing clear technical reports.
- Provide phone and WhatsApp technical support to clients and installers.
- Train clients, installers and the internal sales team on correct product use and installation.
- Assemble solar protection boxes and support safe AC and DC wiring practices.
- Conduct site visits for troubleshooting and optimization of solar systems.
- Responsible and gives no room for excuses and ready to work under pressure.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a closely related field.
- At least 0.5 years’ practical experience in solar or electrical systems.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and soldering electronic circuits
- Solid understanding of DC design and AC wiring for solar systems.
Added Advantage
Candidates with the following will have an edge:
- Previous experience working with Cworth products.
- Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams.
- Confident use of multimeter, clamp meter, soldering station and other diagnostic tools, plus basic electronics repair skills.
- A valid driving permit.
Key Soft Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure, both on-site and remotely.
- Good report writing and documentation.
- Team player with good coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel upcountry for field assignments.
- Good time management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Employment type: Full-time.
Probation: 3 months.
