Background information about the job or company:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our accounting department by managing financial records, processing invoices, and supporting with audits.

Responsibilities or duties:

  • Input financial data accurately into accounting systems.
  • Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Support both external and internal auditors by providing necessary documentation during the financial year audits.
  • Review and process employee payments in time.
  • File monthly tax returns.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account inquiries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B'COM,BBA, AND ACCOUNTING).
  • Proficiency in accounting software e.g QuickBooks, and knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
