Job Purpose   

Provide a comprehensive housing and asset management service to university staff

 Key Duties & Responsibilities            

1.    Maintain records on all staff housing units in the University;

2.    Maintain records of the University inventory of furniture therein and transfer of furniture on authority of Chief Engineer;

3.    Prepare bi-monthly reports of tenants for ease identification and tracking;

4.    Facilitate the entry/ vacancy of staff units as directed by the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Chief Engineer;

5.    Prepare reports on the conditions for the University houses;

6.    Conduct visits to the housing units to carry out spot checks occupancy and inspections of the houses to ensure maintenance of standards;

7.    Supervise and appraise staff as assigned by the Supervisor;

8.  Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

 Required Qualifications         

BSc. in Urban Planning or Real Estates Management or Valuation Surveying or Land Economics or related field from a recognized institution;

 Skills/Competences  

1.    Communication skills;

2.    Team work;

3.    Interpersonal skills

4.    Computer literate;

5. Attention to details;
