Job Title: AUTOMOTIVE-ELECTRICIAN

Reports to: Site Administrator

Department/Division: SERVICE DPT

No. of Vacancies: 1

BASIC PURPOSE:

CEMENTERS UGANDA LIMITED invites applications from suitable qualified persons for its construction activities under the scope of CPF Roads on the Tilenga project.

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Electrician to join our busy service department. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between traditional mechanics and cutting-edge EV technology

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools to identify complex electrical faults
• Repair and maintain starting, charging, and battery management systems (alternators, starters, 12V/48V batteries)
• Interpret and follow complex wiring schematics to repair harnesses, connectors, and control modules.
• Install aftermarket accessories (audio, navigation, security) while ensuring OEM-standard wiring integrity.
• Motor vehicle wiring of both huge trucks and engineering plant equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum education: Certificate in Auto-Mechanics or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• valid driver’s license,
• strong knowledge of CAN bus and multiplexing systems.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a same Role.
