BID NOTICE FOR PARTNER FINANCE MANAGEMENT STRENGTHENING SERVICES
Heifer International is a global development organization on a mission to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way. We work with farmers and their communities to identify and invest in business opportunities that deliver living incomes.
Heifer International started work in Uganda in 1982 and has since reached and helped over 5 million families across the country. Heifer International Uganda has worked in 52 districts of Uganda and currently, we are present in 15 districts of Central, Eastern and Northern Uganda. In the last 12 years, Heifer Uganda has reached over one million families through agriculture and environmentally sound economic development programs.
Heifer International in partnership with Mastercard Foundation is implementing the Stimulating Agribusiness for Youth Employment - SAYE project in Busoga sub-region from 2023 -2029. The project targets 11 selected districts namely, Jinja, Mayuge, Iganga, Kamuli, Kaliro, Namutumba, Bugweri, Luka, Buyende, Bugiri, Namayingo. The project is implemented by Heifer in a consortium with 4 other local organizations namely: The Consortium for enhancing University Responsiveness to Agribusiness Development Ltd (CURAD), The Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises (FSME), Financial Sector Deepening Uganda (FSDU) and ASIGMA Group.
The project intends to conduct a tendering process for Partner Finance Management Strengthening Services under Procurement Reference number: HPV/SAYE/2023/001
1. The Entity now invites sealed proposals from eligible firms for the above services.
2. Interested eligible firms may obtain further information regarding the Terms of Reference (TOR) at the address given below from 10:00 hours to 16:00 hours.
3. The Terms of Reference will be accessed by interested firms on the submission of a written email to procurement-ug@heifer.org
4. Only successful firms shall be contacted. If you do not get feedback within three months after the submission deadline, consider your bid unsuccessful.
5. No proposal shall be received after the submission deadline, HPI will not be held responsible for proposals delivered to a wrong address or rejected due to late submission.
6. HPI shall in no way be held responsible for any cost incurred by any firm during or after the conception, preparation, or submission of the proposals.
7. Proposals must be hand delivered and registered to the address below before or on 12th January 2024 - 12:00 PM.
