BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING

SUBJECT: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF EIGHT (8) MOTOR VEHICLES FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION SECRETARIAT-OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT (STI-OP) UNDER THREE (3) LOTS.

LOT 1: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ONE (1) STATION WAGON NOT EXCEEDING 28000C
LOT 2: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ONE (1) DOUBLE CABIN PICK-UP NOT EXCEEDING 25000C
LOT 3: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SIX (6) DOUBLE CABIN PICK-UPS NOT EXCEEDING 28000C

The Science, Technology, and Innovation Secretariat-Office of the President (STI-OP) has allocated/received funds from the Government of Uganda for the acquisition of supply and delivery of eight (8) motor vehicles for science, technology and innovation secretariat-office of the president (STI-OP) under three (3) lots.

The entity will use these funds to purchase supplies and deliver them to the President's Office.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

The Bidding document(s) may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- at any bank after generation of a PRN through the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Portal on TIN (1030908986).

Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11:00am on 12th March, 2026.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security amount as detailed in the table below.

Bid security must be valid until 28th September, 2026.

Late bids shall be rejected.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11:15am on 18th March, 2026.

There shall not be a pre-bid meeting/site visit at N/A on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
