Realignment study of control gate and counter weight guide slots at Nalubaale power station.

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds for consultancy services for the realignment study of the control gate and counterweight guide slots at Nalubaale Power Station.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above services.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding method procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (8) from 9:00am – 4:00pm.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at (8) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited, Stanbic Bank, Operations A/C No. 9030011177327 upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Proposals must be delivered to the address below at (8) at or before Thursday 13th May, 2026 at 11:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration valid until Friday 11th December, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (8) at 11:10am on Thursday 13th May, 2026.

7. There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting/site visit at Nalubaale Power Station in Jinja at 11:00 am on the date(s) indicated in the planned procurement schedule below.
