Implementation of Open Text - UEGCL/NCONS/25-26/23106

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for Implementation of Open Text.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the non-consultancy services. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 9am – 4:00pm.

3. The bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000= (Uganda shillings One Hundred Thousand Only) to Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited A/C No. 6008555387, ABSA Bank Uganda Limited upon which you shall be presented with a bank slip as proof of payment. The document may be picked by bidders from UEGCL Kampala Office.

4. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00am of Thursday 7 May, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of UGX 10,000,000= (Uganda Shillings Ten Million Only). Bid Securities must be valid until Wednesday 28 October, 2026. Electronic bidding will be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10:10am of Thursday 7 May, 2026.

5. There shall be a pre – bid meeting/site visit at UEGCL Kampala Office on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
