Kassanda District Local Government has budgeted funds under UGIFT/ DDF/GJFF for the financial year 2025/2026 part of which shall be utilized towards procurement of the works listed below.

1. Kassanda District Local Government has received funds and invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the acquisition of the following works
   a) Construction of 2 Sub County Administration blocks
   b) Construction of a 2 classroom block with an office at Kizika – Katutogo Primary School in Khumbi Sc
   c) Construction of a 2 classroom block with an office at Malama Primary School in Kamuli SC
   d) Construction of a 2 classroom block with an office at Katurgulu DAB P/S in Bukowa TC
   e) Rehabilitation of Minor Merchandise at Nsuzhya Primary School
   f) Completion of Lwenco Primary School in Kalwana
   g) Drilling of 7 Deep Boreholes (hand pumps) in selected places
   h) Rehabilitation of Kigalama CU Primary School in Myanzi Sub County
   i) Phase II Construction of a mini solar piped water system at Breyongedde TC
   j) Completion of District Medicine and Vaccine Store at District Headquarters
   k) Construction of a 5 stance public latrine at Kanamukwuri Land site, Marians P/S and Kyakotub P/S
   l) Rehabilitation of 9 Boreholes in selected places.
   m) Motorized Hand pump Deep Borehole Drilling at Kasamba
   n) Rehabilitation of Lwenyango P/S
   o) Construction of 5 Stance drainable latrine at Kyabekulungu P/S and Kagaba P/S
   p) Construction of 2 classroom block with an office at Kiandira Lwera P/S
   q) Repairing of Solar Systems in Kiganda HCIII & Kassanda HCIII
   r) Procurement of Standard Operating Tables in the 2 HCIII (Kiganda HCIII & Kassanda HCIII)
   s) Procurement of Executive Council Furniture
   t) Procurement of 14 heifers to Production Department
   u) Procurement of Fertilizers NPK 25-6-12 and Yara Mila Java Packaged
   v) Procurement of CCTV Camera
   w) Supply of water quality testing Kit
   x) Procurement of a new V Shaped Master Engine Boat 37ft & 2.3 Tons and a brand new Boat Engine

Note: Latrine construction is applicable to pre-qualified firms as detailed in the bidding documents.
2. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of public assets ACT CAP 205 and regulations made under the ACT and is open to all bidders.
3. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the address given below at (7) from 8.00am to 5.00pm.
4. The bidding document has been prepared in English language, may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of non-refundable fee of 100,000/. The method of payment will be through RPS system.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 11.00am on 30th September 2025. Bids for item A and F must be accompanied by a bid security of 2,000,000/=; B, C, D, E, P 1,000,000/= AND H 500,000/= in form of a bank guarantee. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 30th September 2025 at 11.30 am.
6. There shall be a pre bid meeting/ site visit on 18th September 2025 in the District Council Hall.
7. Bidders should note that documents may be inspected, issued, delivered and opened at Kassanda Procurement and Disposal Unit, Kassanda District Local Government. P.O. BOX 169 Mityana
