BID NOTICE NO. 2 UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING INVITATION TO BID FOR PROCUREMENT OF WORKS

1. Masaka City has allocated local revenue to be used for provision of works for the Financial Year 2025/2026.

2. The Entity therefore invites sealed bids from eligible bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement and Disposal Unit, Masaka City Offices and inspect Solicitation Documents at the address given below in 7(a) from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday during the Bidding Period.

5. A complete set of Bid Documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below 7(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee UGX 200,000/=. The method of payment will be done using Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS) and obtaining a receipt from the City cash office. Bidders will only be issued with the bidding documents upon presentation of an original receipt of payment. The documents should be physically collected from the address in No. 7(a) below from 8:30 am to 5:00pm.

6. Bids must be delivered and registered to the address in 7(a) at or before 2:00 pm on 18th March 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders and/or their representatives, who choose to attend at the address in 7(b) at 3:00pm on 18th March 2026.

The Planned Procurement schedule (subject to changes) is as follows: Publish bid notice 26th February 2026, Pre bid meeting 03rd March 2026 at 11:00 am, Closing of bidding period 18th March 2026 at 2:00 pm, Bid opening date 18th March 2026 at 3:00 pm, Evaluation process Within 10 working days from the bid closing date, Display and communication of the best evaluated bidder notice Within 5 working days from Contracts Committee award.
