USAID's Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET) is a leading global provider of objective, evidence- based food security information and analysis to inform decisions on humanitarian response and other assistance programs. FEWS NET collaborates with international, regional, and national partners to provide timely and rigorous early warning and analysis of potential, emerging, and/or evolving food security issues to inform decisions and guide responses.
Chemonics International Inc., a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, DC, was contracted by USAID to manage FEWS NET's technical and field activities. Under the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET) Activity, USAID Contract No. 7200AA19D00001/7200AA19F00018
COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR THE SALE OF MOTOR VEHICLE
FEWS NET-Uganda invites bidders to tender their purchase offer for the used vehicle below.

The vehicle will be available for inspection from 10:00 am- 3:00 pm. Monday to Thursday between February 1st- February 14, 2024, at FEWS NET Offices located at Lugogo Office Park, Plot 54 Rotary Avenue, Lugogo By-Pass, Kampala Uganda.
The Vehicle is sold on "as is basis" and the seller reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. Must pay a non- refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Shillings Only (Ugx 50,000) Through the bank and obtain an official receipt upon delivery of the deposit slip.
Bid documents will be available at the FEWS NET Office parking yard when viewing the vehicle.

A successful bidder will be required to pay FEWS NET - Uganda within one week (7 days) of receipt of the offer, transfer the vehicle into their name (s) thereafter and remove the item from FEWS NET Office premises within two weeks (14) days effective the transfer.
Sealed bids are to be submitted to the address below clearly marked on the envelope.
