JOB DETAILS:

Minimum required qualification for bus driver

• Education: Uganda certificate of Education UCE and a credit in English or Equivalent
• Driving Permit: valid driving permit in class CM, C, D1, D, and DE. And a clean driving record
• Experience: minimum 3 years driving experience in heavy omim bus
• Knowledge: defensive driving, basic vehicle mechanics and road safety.
• Others: certificate in first aid is an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely drive the school bus to transport students and staff
• Report all defects and routine service to your supervisor
• Maintain accurate vehicle log book and trip records
• Ensure proper care and maintenance and cleanliness of the bus
• Ensure the bus is road worthy with valid PMO and Insurance
• Ensure that the bus is always parked in a safe place
• Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: high school
