The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, increasing revenue streams, and strengthening client relationships. The successful candidate will develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement sales and business growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and bids.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close business deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  • Drive revenue growth and achievement of business targets.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to you.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's Degree is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience needed

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
