Call For Tender
African Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-profit humanitarian and development organization without any political or religious affiliations. AIRD aims at promoting the protection and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and Internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Africa, and capacity building. In Uganda, AIRD is the main logistics partner of UNHCR and implements fleet management, workshop management, fuel, and warehouse management.
AIRD invites potential bidders to tender for the below subject of procurements for the FY 2024/2025:
1. Provision of medical insurance services for AIRD staff.
2. Provision of life and Group Personal accident insurance services for AIRD staff.
3. Provision of security services for AIRD Kampala and field office premises.
4. Provision of Internet services for Kampala offices. 5. Supply of office stationery and consumables.
6. Supply of printer and photocopier toner and cartridges.
7. Supply of cleaning materials.
Bidding documents can be picked up from the AIRD Office in Kampala located on Martyr's Garden Road, Ntinda, along UNEB road, opposite Coffee City.
Eligible bidders should have:
• VAT Registration Certificate.
• Valid trading license.
• Company profile with clear memorandum and articles of association and clear company management setup: Form 7/20 certified by URSB (Uganda Registration Services Bureau).
• Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
• PPDA Registration Certificate.
• IRA certificate for Insurance firms only.
• NITA-U certificate for firms in the IT industry only
• Qualified Key personnel (CVs and certificates)
• Office location with clear Addresses.
• Relevant Experience in similar services (Contracts and/or LPOs)
• Financial/audited books of accounts for 2022, 2021, and 2020 certified by reputable audit firms.
• Certified bank statement from January 2023 to 30" November 2023
Bid collection modality: Qualified and interested bidders should collect bids from the AIRD Office in Kampala located on Martyr's Garden Road, Ntinda, opposite Coffee City during working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Modality for clarifications: All inquiries concerning the bidding should be addressed in writing to the stated address or by email to: procurement@airdinternational.org before the closure of the bidding period.
Bid Submission modality: Two-stage envelope method will be used where bidders are expected to submit two envelopes separately, one envelope containing a technical bid and the second envelope containing a financial bid which shall clearly be labeled "TECHNICAL and FINANCIAL BID" respectively for the subjected of procurement bidding for.
Bid opening: Submitted bids shall be opened on 7 December 2023 by 2:00 pm at AIRD Office in Kampala, located at Martyrs Garden Road, Ntinda.
The Organization reserves the right to partially or totally cancel the bids in the event of identification of better options without notice.
Any kind of lobbying will lead to automatic
disqualification.
