About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as the CEO of our company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business and entrepreneurship, including experience in creating and executing strategic plans and leading high-performing teams.
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and performance of the company. This includes setting the company's vision, mission, and goals, developing and executing business plans, managing financial and operational performance, and leading the company's management team. You will also be responsible for identifying and pursuing new investment opportunities, and building relationships with clients, partners and investors among others.

Key Responsibilities
1. To implement the strategic vision and plan for the company, that aligns with the company's mission and values.
2. To lead and manage the company's executive team and staff, providing direction and guidance to achieve company goals.
3. To build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors.
4. To identify and pursue new investment opportunities that align with the company's goals and values.
5. To monitor and analyse the financial performance of the company and make adjustments as necessary to ensure financial stability and growth.
6. To implement policies and procedures that promote compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. To represent the company at industry events, building the company's reputation and visibility
8. To ensure efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery of services and attract external funding through international grant application.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
1. Advanced degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, law or a related field
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business and entrepreneurship; with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

Core competences.
1. Proven ability to successfully lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including developing junior colleagues.
2. Knowledge in financial management principle is desirable
3. Skills and experiences in managing internationally funded projects
4. Proven experience in managing company business at a managerial level.
5. Ability to work collaboratively to support all levels of professional, technical and support staff.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills
7. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
8. Personal accountability and commitment in ensuring donor compliance and donor requirement.
9. Self-discipline and have organizing abilities.
10. Good at coordination and task prioritization.
