Job Purpose

To train, supervise, and mentor clinical medicine students by providing quality theoretical instruction and practical clinical guidance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and clinical lessons in clinical medicine.
  • Supervise students during clinical practice.
  • Demonstrate clinical procedures and patient management approaches.
  • Assess students’ knowledge, skills, and clinical performance.
  • Provide mentorship on professional conduct and ethical practice.
  • Prepare teaching materials and practical demonstrations.
  • Maintain student evaluation records.
  • Participate in academic meetings and training activities.
  • Support continuous improvement of clinical training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the relevant professional council.
  • Valid practicing license.
  • Clinical teaching experience is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong clinical and teaching skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Mentorship and leadership skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with students and healthcare teams.
