1. The Uganda Wildlife Authority has planned in its year 2022- 23 to undertake consulting services. 2. The consulting services ("the Services") include development of an invasive species plan management strategy and action plan.

4. The Uganda Wildlife Authority now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:

The consultant is required to have an office in Uganda, and is expected to organize all necessary inputs such as logistics, vehicles, equipment, etc. The key personnel shall have minimum academic qualification and experience as shown in table below.

The minimum score required to pass the EOI evaluation is 80 points.

Key Experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage.

5. The shortlist will contain 3 (three) to 5 (five) firms.

6. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub- consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected

7. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and cost based Selection method described in the PPDA Procurement Regulations, 2014.

8. Further information can be obtained during office hours (09:00 to 16:00 hours) from Monday to Friday from Procurement and Disposal Unit.

9. Expression of Interest, in English (one Original plus three Copies), in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Expression of Interest for consultancy services for development of an invasive species plan management strategy and action plan" to be delivered in a written form to the Physical address below in person to reach not later than 03:00pm (Local time) on 10th February 2023.

10. The expression of interest shall be valid until 31st May 2023.
