JOB DETAILS:

Freight In Time is hiring a visionary Country Manager to spearhead commercial success and operational excellence in Uganda. This is a high-impact role for a strategic leader ready to transform logistics, elevate service delivery, and drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations and cross-functional teams
• Drive commercial strategy and customer experience
• Develop systems for sales, HR, pricing, and credit
• Coordinate international freight and regional transit movements
• Ensure financial governance and compliance across operations
• Represent FIT across agent networks and local partnerships

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 8+ years’ experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain leadership
• Proven success in team leadership, commercial strategy, and operational oversight
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, reporting, and cost control
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization skills
• Familiarity with East African transit logistics and international freight standards
