About the job

We are hiring on behalf of a client who is seeking an experienced Crane Operators Heavy Lift (50-200 Tonnes) to support lifting operations for major Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy lifting cranes to move large equipment, structural components, and materials in compliance with industry regulations and project safety standards. This role requires precision, strong safety awareness, and proven experience handling cranes with lifting capacities between 50 and 200 tonnes in high-risk industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy-duty cranes (50–200 tonnes capacity) safely and efficiently
  • Execute critical and routine lifts according to approved lift plans
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance checks
  • Interpret load charts, lift plans, and rigging configurations
  • Coordinate with lifting supervisors, riggers, signalers, and site engineers
  • Monitor load stability, wind conditions, and ground bearing pressures
  • Ensure strict compliance with Oil & Gas HSE standards and company safety procedures
  • Report mechanical faults, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
  • Maintain accurate operational logs and daily reports

Requirements

  • Valid Crane Operator Certification G&H Compliance
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience operating heavy lift cranes (50–200 tonnes)
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery, or large industrial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of lifting operations, rigging, and load calculations
  • Ability to read and interpret lift plans and technical drawings
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, offshore, or remote site locations
