Our client, a Preschool in Kampala, is looking for an experienced and innovative Curriculum Coordinator to lead and support curriculum development across the Preschool and Playgroup departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee curriculum planning, development, and implementation across all early years classes.
  • Review and approve weekly class plans to ensure alignment with learning objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and professional support to teachers.
  • Monitor classroom instruction to ensure consistency, creativity, and high teaching standards.
  • Lead teacher planning meetings and curriculum review sessions.
  • Coordinate developmental assessments and ensure proper record-keeping and reporting.
  • Identify training needs and organize professional development sessions.
  • Collaborate with management on integrating co-curricular activities and special events into the curriculum.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in an international curriculum and at least 2 years in a curriculum leadership role.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective early years curricula.
  • Strong understanding of child-centered and play-based learning approaches.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in implementing inclusive academic strategies
