The Delivery Rider is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of pharmaceutical products and related items to customers and designated locations. The role involves maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring the security and proper handling of deliveries, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations while representing the pharmacy professionally.

• Collect, transport, and deliver pharmaceutical products accurately and on time.
• Verify delivery orders and ensure all items are delivered to the correct recipients.
• Obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Respond to customer inquiries during deliveries and escalate concerns where necessary.
• Represent the pharmacy positively through excellent customer service.
• Conduct daily inspections of the assigned motorcycle before and after deliveries.
• Ensure the motorcycle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Report any mechanical faults or accidents promptly.
• Monitor fuel usage and adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Comply with all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Handle pharmaceutical products carefully to maintain their quality and integrity during transportation.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding customer information and deliveries.
• Follow the pharmacy's delivery procedures and safety policies at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Return undelivered items and delivery documentation promptly.
• Assist with other operational duties as assigned by management.

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Valid motorcycle riding permit.

• Previous experience as a delivery rider, courier, or logistics rider is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Kampala road networks and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
