Development Lead
Role Purpose
To design and coordinate alumni-led career development initiatives that support professional growth, mentorship, and opportunities for JA Uganda alumni.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop career development programmes for alumni.
- Coordinate mentorship, coaching, and professional growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for alumni skills development.
- Build partnerships that support career advancement.
- Support knowledge-sharing and professional networking among alumni.
- Monitor the impact of career initiatives.
- Promote continuous learning and professional development.
Key Competencies
- Strong programme development skills.
- Ability to identify and create growth opportunities.
- Mentorship and coaching abilities.
- Strong networking and partnership-building skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be between 25 and 35 years old.
- Must be a JA Uganda alumnus/alumna in good standing.
- Demonstrate commitment to JA Uganda’s vision, mission, and core values.
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Be willing and able to commit to a three (3)-year term of service.
- Lead and influence a growing alumni network.
- Strengthen connections and community impact.
- Build leadership and professional experience.
