Chap Chap is a Ugandan fintech platform that gives micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises the digital tools to run and grow their businesses. Through our mobile app, merchants offer financial services, mobile money transfers, bank deposits, and bill payments while tracking daily sales and inventory and building a credit profile that unlocks access to unsecured loans.

To support business growth and strengthen the company’s market presence, we are seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented professionals to fill the position of Direct Sales Officer.

DIRECT SALES OFFICERS

This position reports directly to the Head of Sales, and it will be field-based.

ROLE OF THE JOB:

To drive revenue and expand the customer base by directly engaging with potential clients in the field, generating leads, executing product presentations, closing deals, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Agent acquisition and onboarding effectiveness.
  • Field lead generation and pipeline development.
  • Agent activation, reactivation, and revenue contribution.
  • Agent retention and portfolio health.
  • Agent engagement and relationship management.
  • Service quality and issue resolution efficiency.
  • Market intelligence and competitive insight generation.
  • Customer and agent feedback intelligence.
  • Operational discipline and reporting compliance.
  • Brand visibility and market presence development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and oral.
  • High levels of self-motivation
  • Agent acquisition and onboarding effectiveness.

  • Agent activation, reactivation, and revenue contribution.
  • Agent retention and portfolio health.
