Background

Machapala Group is recruiting for its subsidiary, Machame Refineries, a fast-growing energy company commissioning a state-of-the-art pyrolysis plant in Nyenga, Jinja. The plant will convert waste tyres and plastics into pyrolysis oil and other sustainable fuels, contributing to industrial energy solutions and circular economy development. We invite applications from highly competent, disciplined, and results-oriented individuals to fill the following positions:

Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure continuous and safe plant operations.

Key Result Areas:

• Electrical systems including motors, control panels, and power distribution units are maintained and functioning effectively.
• Instrumentation systems such as sensors, alarms, and control devices are calibrated and operational.
• Electrical faults are diagnosed and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
• Preventive maintenance activities for electrical systems are conducted as scheduled.
• Compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures is ensured at all times.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess a diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in industrial electrical maintenance is required. Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems is an added advantage.

Level of Education: professional certificate
