JOB DETAILS:

Environmental Science graduates assess, monitor, and develop solutions to environmental problems, working in sectors like consulting, government, and industry .

• Environmental Monitoring: Collect and analyze samples (water, soil, air) to assess environmental quality and pollution levels .
• Impact Assessments: Assist in conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for proposed projects .
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., ZEMA, EPA) and prepare environmental reports and permits .
• Waste Management: Support the development and implementation of waste management plans, including reduction, recycling, and disposal strategies .
• Conservation & Restoration: Participate in conservation projects, habitat restoration, and biodiversity assessments .
• Data Analysis: Use GIS and other tools to analyze environmental data and prepare maps and reports .
• Community Engagement: Assist in environmental education and community engagement initiatives .
