Description
Wise Buy is hiring an Events & Activations Coordinator (Commission-based) responsible for identifying, organising and coordinating opportunities for Wise Buy to participate in events or arrange its own product activations.
Demographics
The role includes finding suitable events, contacting organisers, proposing Wise Buy participation, helping coordinate setup, supporting sales activations, collecting leads and helping turn events into revenue.
This is not a fixed-salary role. The coordinator will earn commission based on agreed successful event sales, confirmed event bookings, or approved revenue-generating opportunities.
Engagement Type: Commission-Based / Performance-Based
Start Date: Immediate / To be agreed
Key Responsibilities
The coordinator will be expected to:
- Identify suitable events where Wise Buy can sell, sample or promote its products.
- Contact schools, hotels, corporate organisations, churches, community groups, event organisers and venues.
- Arrange Wise Buy participation in sports days, school events, family days, corporate events, fairs, markets, festivals, community events and private functions.
- Help organise Wise Buy-owned activations, tastings, pop-ups and promotional events.
- Confirm event details, including date, location, expected attendance, stall fees, power access, setup requirements and sales rules.
- Support planning for Wise Buy product displays and event sales points.
- Help collect customer contacts, feedback, sales enquiries and follow-up leads.
- Report event opportunities clearly to Wise Buy management.
- Support the team in converting event opportunities into sales and repeat partnerships.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident, organised and self-driven.
- Experienced or interested in events, activations, promotions or sales.
- Well-connected with schools, event organisers, venues, churches, companies or community groups.
- Good at making calls, following up and securing opportunities.
- Professional in communication and presentation.
- Able to work independently and report clearly.
- Sales-minded and motivated by commission.
- Reliable, honest and able to represent Wise Buy well.
Commission Structure
Commission will be agreed based on the type of event or opportunity secured. Possible commission models may include:
Event Sales Commission
- A percentage commission on net sales generated from an event secured by the coordinator.
Confirmed Event Booking Commission
- A fixed commission for approved events successfully secured and attended by Wise Buy.
Partnership Commission
- A commission for school, corporate, hotel or institutional event partnerships that lead to confirmed sales.
Repeat Event Commission
- Where an event or organisation becomes a repeat customer, additional commission may be agreed for repeat business generated from that lead.
Final commission rates will be confirmed in writing before the coordinator begins work.
Suggested Starting Commission Terms
Wise Buy may offer the following starting commission structure:
- 10% commission on net sales from events personally secured by the coordinator.
- Agreed fixed commission for approved event opportunities that are secured and successfully attended.
- Additional commission to be agreed for large corporate, school, hotel or institutional partnerships.
Commission will be paid after the event has taken place, sales have been reconciled, and payment has been received by Wise Buy.
Important Conditions
- All event opportunities must be approved by Wise Buy before any commitment is made.
- The coordinator must not agree pricing, discounts, sponsorships, or financial terms without approval.
- Wise Buy will confirm product pricing, stock availability, branding, and participation terms.
- Commission is payable only on approved and confirmed opportunities.
- Customer contacts, event leads and business information remain the property of Wise Buy.
