JOB DETAILS:
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of Simba Telecom and the achievements of the company’s Growth and Profitability agenda.

The General Manager will be accountable for developing new business opportunities and sustaining valuable relationships with private and public sector stakeholders to ensure the company’s continuous expansion and business growth

Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
• Ensures quality metrics for MTN and Simba KPIs are achieved through sound business processes following regulatory agency guidelines.
• Manage operations of the business
• Partnership & Stakeholder Management & Development
• Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
• Oversee Recruitment and training new hires on business practices
• Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
• Drive development of employees
• Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained

Experience
4 years experience in a senior leadership position in the telecom industry is required
Experience reporting to the board is an added advantage
Sales experience desirable

Qualifications
• A masters degree in any field is required
• C-suite training
