Background

Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is a statutory body established under the URSB Act, Cap. 217, with the mandate to provide accessible, reliable and innovative registration services that support business growth and national development.

As part of our commitment to developing young professionals, URSB invites applications from suitably qualified, motivated and innovative graduates for its Graduate Trainee Programme in the ICT and Innovation Department.

Programme Objectives:

• Prepare graduates to work effectively in complex and diverse situations.

About the Program:

• Duration: 1 Year
• Deployment: Placed in department of ICT and Innovation.
• Individuals with a passion for learning, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.

• Must have graduated within the last two (2) years.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Data Science, Business computing or another closely related ICT discipline from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications and digital technologies.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in digital transformation, innovation and emerging technologies.
• Previous internship, project work, certifications or participation in innovation initiatives will be an added advantage.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Have good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Be adaptable, self-driven and willing to learn in a fast-paced work environment.
