Role Overview

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a vital role in creating visually appealing designs to meet our commercial and promotional needs. You will collaborate closely with our marketing team and bring your creative vision to life in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We seek a candidate who is adaptable, a strategic thinker, and continuously seeks growth opportunities.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Location: Kitintale
• Reporting Structure: Reports to the Marketing Manager
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Key Responsibilities

1. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selecting style and size of type.
2. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
3. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
4. Use computer software to generate new images.
5. Prepare digital files for printing.
6. Research the target audience of projects.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and other related fields
• Required Experience: 2-3 years in graphic design
• Required Skills: Critical Thinking, Social Perceptiveness, Judgment and Decision Making, Time Management, Service Orientation
• Required Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in video creation and editing software, graphics/photo imaging software, CAD software, GUI development software, and project management software
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in English

Preferred Duties:

1. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork using computer.
2. Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for the printer.
3. Study illustrations and photographs to plan the presentation of materials, products, or services.  

Preferred Skills: Coordination, Complex Problem Solving

Preferred Knowledge Areas: Communications and Media, Customer and Personal Service
