Job Description
Visit retail stores, stockists, and local markets across Northern Uganda to take product orders and open new customer accounts.
Drive territory distribution growth and revenue by monitoring stock availability, competitor activity, and customer service expectations.
Maintain trade integrity by enforcing company credit, pricing, and returns policies while coordinating with operational teams for timely fulfillment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Visit retail stores, stockists, and local markets across Northern Uganda to secure product orders and open new retail accounts.
- Plan daily and weekly route coverage to consistently achieve assigned territory sales targets and distribution KPIs.
- Enforce approved company pricing, credit, returns, and promotional terms with strict commercial integrity.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, finance, and logistics personnel to verify stock availability and ensure timely order delivery.
- Gather and report timely market intelligence on competitor pricing, promotional activities, and product performance.
- Maintain accurate, legible, and traceable records of sales orders, customer commitments, and daily route performance.
- Identify territory distribution and visibility gaps early to execute practical corrective actions.
- Escalate customer credit risks, unusual payment patterns, suspected product diversion, and counterfeit concerns through appropriate channels.

- Basic digital recordkeeping and order processing
Education Qualifications & Experience
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Procurement, Economics, Statistics, Mass Communication, Public Relations, International Business, Retail Management, Customer Service, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Computing, or related disciplines.
Ordinary Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related commercial fields.
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) for candidates demonstrating strong communication, numeracy, and local market understanding.
Experience
No prior work experience required.
Includes 1 month field sales mentorship.
