JOB DETAILS:
The Health Advisor- Integrated Health Care delivery, MNCH and Malaria will provide technical leadership and guidance on integrated maternal, newborn, child health, and malaria prevention and treatment programs, working with national, regional, district, health facilities, and community structures to strengthen service delivery, build capacity, and improve health outcomes.

1. Provide technical assistance to the local governments on integrated MNCH and malaria through capacity building, and monitoring implementation of MNCH and malaria prevention, control, and services. 2. Lead the development of annual work plans, budgets, and program strategies, ensuring alignment with national priorities and guidelines. 3. Lead technical, management, and monitoring aspects of project activity implementation, and ensure adherence to donor guidance. 4. Coordinate the design, planning, and implementation of integrated MNCH and malaria prevention, control, and service delivery activities consistent with the project and MOH guidelines. This will include but is not limited to case management at facility and community level, malaria chemoprevention, support for malaria and other childhood vaccine implementation, malaria in pregnancy, early ANC uptake and completion, safe delivery and neonatal care, improving Basic and Emergency Obstetric Care, neonatal care and Integrated Management of Newborn and Childhood Illnesses capacities, procurement and delivery of life-saving commodities, maternal mortality audits and associated monitoring and surveillance to ensure accountability and track progress. 5. Build the technical capacity of regional, district, health facility, and community teams in MNCH and Malaria prevention, control, and management. 6. Develop a robust technical assistance model to meet regional, district, facility, and community needs. 7. Design and implement demand-generation strategies at health facilities and community levels, working with CHEWS and VHTs. 8. Contribute to project reviews and strategic planning, ensuring accurate and timely reports and deliverables for MNCH and malaria-related activities. 9. Ensure efficient use of resources, delivering strong returns on investment for the integrated MNCH and malaria services. 10. Provide technical oversight for the implementation of innovations, use implementation science to inform MNCH service delivery, and participate in the MNCH and Malaria technical working group meetings. |
11. Establish and deepen strategic public-private partnerships and collaborations for the sustainability of MNCH programs
